Job Summary

Job Title: Terraform AWS Infrastructure Engineer (SSL/TLS Backup/Patching CodePipeline - 8yrs

Location: Atlanta GA (Hybrid )

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification

Key Responsibilities Cloud Configuration & Infrastructure Automation

Develop implement and maintain configuration management processes policies and standards for AWS environments.
Build deploy and enhance Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform to automate provisioning configuration and lifecycle management of AWS resources such as EC2 S3 RDS IAM and ACM.
Manage and optimize multiple environments (Development Testing Staging Production) ensuring configuration consistency and security.

Release Engineering & AWS DevOps

Support CI/CD automation pipelines using AWS CodeCommit CodeBuild CodeDeploy and CodePipeline.
Collaborate with DevOps teams on deployments releases rollbacks configuration updates and overall environment readiness.

Backup Patching & Compliance

Design and maintain automated AWS backup solutions to ensure data integrity resiliency and compliance with state retention policies.
Implement and manage automated patching workflows for cloud infrastructure.
Conduct periodic audits of configurations patch levels backup integrity and certificate compliance and implement improvements as needed.

Security & Certificate Management

Manage installation renewal rotation and validation of SSL/TLS certificates across AWS services.
Ensure secure communication configurations aligned with state and federal security requirements.

Documentation Governance & Training

Maintain detailed documentation for configuration baselines IaC standards Terraform modules and environment changes.
Provide training and guidance to team members on:
- Terraform and AWS infrastructure best practices
- Backup and recovery strategies
- Patch automation
- Certificate management

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field or equivalent professional training certification or experience.
Strong hands-on experience with:
- Terraform and Infrastructure as Code methodologies
- AWS services including EC2 S3 RDS IAM and ACM
- Cloud backup and recovery solutions
- Automated patching processes
- SSL/TLS certificate management and security best practices

Preferred Qualifications

Scripting experience with Python Bash or PowerShell for automation.
AWS and/or Terraform certifications.
Experience working in state or local government environments.
Experience with vendor coordination or oversight.
Familiarity with project management or Agile delivery tools.
Experience supporting organizational change management (OCM) initiatives.
