Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled AI Automation Enablement Lead to join our team in Washington D.C. As a senior leader you will be responsible for managing and expanding the adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and solutions within our organization with a focus on automation and process improvement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing AI tools such as for code analysis and automation as well as a deep understanding of the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) financial systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development and implementation of AI-powered automation solutions to enhance business processes and improve operational efficiency
Manage and maintain existing AI tools such as for code analysis and automation and expand their application to new areas beyond financial systems
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI-driven process improvement and develop strategic plans to implement AI solutions
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of NRCS financial systems and apply this knowledge to inform AI solution development and implementation
Provide technical expertise and guidance to teams on the use and integration of AI tools and solutions
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in AI and automation and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement within the organization
Develop and manage project plans budgets and resource allocation to ensure successful execution of AI automation projects
Foster a culture of innovation and experimentation encouraging the use of AI and automation to drive business value and improvement

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
Minimum 8 years of experience in managing AI tools and solutions with a focus on automation and process improvement
Proven experience with AI tools such as and a strong understanding of code analysis and automation
In-depth knowledge of NRCS financial systems and experience working with financial data and processes
Strong leadership and management skills with experience leading teams and managing projects
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to apply AI and automation to drive business value and improvement

Preferred Qualifications:

Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
Experience working in a government or public sector organization
Certification in AI automation or a related field
Experience with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices
Strong business acumen and understanding of organizational operations and processes
