Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled AI Automation Enablement Lead to join our team in Washington D.C. As a senior leader you will be responsible for managing and expanding the adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and solutions within our organization with a focus on automation and process improvement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing AI tools such as for code analysis and automation as well as a deep understanding of the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) financial systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of AI-powered automation solutions to enhance business processes and improve operational efficiency
- Manage and maintain existing AI tools such as for code analysis and automation and expand their application to new areas beyond financial systems
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI-driven process improvement and develop strategic plans to implement AI solutions
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of NRCS financial systems and apply this knowledge to inform AI solution development and implementation
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to teams on the use and integration of AI tools and solutions
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in AI and automation and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement within the organization
- Develop and manage project plans budgets and resource allocation to ensure successful execution of AI automation projects
- Foster a culture of innovation and experimentation encouraging the use of AI and automation to drive business value and improvement
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in managing AI tools and solutions with a focus on automation and process improvement
- Proven experience with AI tools such as and a strong understanding of code analysis and automation
- In-depth knowledge of NRCS financial systems and experience working with financial data and processes
- Strong leadership and management skills with experience leading teams and managing projects
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to apply AI and automation to drive business value and improvement
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
- Experience working in a government or public sector organization
- Certification in AI automation or a related field
- Experience with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices
- Strong business acumen and understanding of organizational operations and processes
