Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled O&M and DM&E Lead to oversee the operations and maintenance of large-scale IT systems as well as lead development modernization and enhancement efforts in a federal environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex IT operations and modernization projects with a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for Operations and Maintenance (O&M) and Development Modernization and Enhancement (DM&E) efforts ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of large-scale IT systems including troubleshooting maintenance and repair.
- Develop and implement plans for the modernization and enhancement of existing IT systems including the identification of opportunities for improvement and the implementation of new technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development engineering and security to ensure seamless integration and deployment of new systems and technologies.
- Manage budgets resources and vendor relationships to ensure effective and efficient delivery of O&M and DM&E services.
- Develop and maintain metrics and reporting to measure the performance and effectiveness of O&M and DM&E efforts.
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations industry standards and organizational policies and procedures.
- Provide guidance and oversight to junior staff members including training and development opportunities to ensure growth and career advancement.
Requirements:
- 10 years of experience in managing large-scale IT operations and modernization efforts in federal environments.
- Strong knowledge of IT service management frameworks including ITIL.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Strong understanding of federal regulations including FISMA FedRAMP and NIST guidelines.
- Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop creative solutions.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
- Relevant certifications such as ITIL PMP or CISSP are highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud-based technologies including AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices including threat analysis and risk management.
- Experience with IT portfolio management including the development of business cases and cost-benefit analyses.
- Strong understanding of data analytics and reporting including the use of data visualization tools.
