About the role

Working under the guidance of the Service Leader and Assistant Service Leader you will deliver high-quality care that supports childrens wellbeing development and learning in a safe inclusive environment. You will build and maintain genuine partnerships with children and families demonstrate strong leadership skills and show a commitment to continuous improvement.

This is a permanent part-time position of 22.5 hours per week worked on weekdays. The role includes 2 hours of non-contact time per week. Working hours may vary between school term periods and vacation care.

Successful candidates will work split shifts two days per week covering two mornings and every afternoon.

Your role as an OSHC Educator you will be expected to

Support daily OSHC operations under the guidance of the Service Leader such as assist in planning and delivering high-quality programs in a safe and inclusive environment
Lead by example and promote positive professional communication with the staffs families and students
Maintain accurate program attendance incident and compliance records and performing administrative duties including rostering purchasing supplies and event planning

What you bring

Certificate III or Diploma in Childrens Services or currently working towards with a minimum of 2 years experience in OSHC or a similar setting
Sound understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and My Time Our Place
Current Working with Children Check
Current First Aid and CPR certification
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Current Child Protection training (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)
