About the role
CAP is looking for an enthusiastic team player to join our dynamic and collaborative Partner Services and Support team. As the CAP Money Coordinator you will lead CAP Money which is a reputable and award-winning money management programme teaching people budgeting skills and a simple cash-based system that really helps anyone get more in control of their finances.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a part-time role that offers 24 hours per week for 24-months based at CAPs Support office in Tāmaki Makaurau.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Provide oversight of CAP Money including compile and process all electronic data and paperwork set up new clients and ensure updating of database.
- Coordinate CAP money training days
- Communicate with church partners and CAP money coaches ensuring professionalism and clear and accurate advice is provided
- Provide support and trouble-shooting for any CAP Money problems
- Provide support for any CAP Money campaigns
- Oversee onboarding of any new CAP Money Coaches
- Promote and provide regular communications to CAP Money partners & supporters

- Knowledge of personal finances and budgeting
- Prior Customer service experience is desirable particularly in the financial sector
- Out-of-the-box thinking on how best to engage and involve our people in the work they do
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail with excellent prioritisation and time management skills.
- Poficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent time-management and able to work autonomously
- A genuine care for people with a desire to build positive relationships
- Ability to work comfortably and well in an NFP organisation that seeks to honour Te Tiriti o Waitangi in the way work is done
- A strong personal alignment with the foundational Christian philosophy organisational identity culture and values of CAP
