The Role
As an independent contractor you will facilitate in-person communication between English-speaking professionals and Limited English Proficient (LEP) individuals. While most assignments are on-site throughout Maine occasional remote opportunities are available.
Requirements
- Fluency:Full professional proficiency in English and at least one other language.
- Compliance:Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and pass a background check/drug screening.
- Availability:Primarily available for local in-person travel within Maine.
- Medical Readiness:For healthcare assignments you must provide immunization records (MMR Varicella COVID-19 TB and Flu).
- Education:High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience is preferred but we are happy to train the right bilingual candidates!
