DescriptionIf you are an Inventory Control professional looking for an opportunity to grow Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in Houston TX (Aldine Westfield location) the Inventory Control Supervisor will oversee the daily functions of Inventory Control Stockroom Shipping & Receiving Production Dispatch and the Materials Expeditor responsibilities. This position is demanding and requires constant interaction with all departments and suppliers.
In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:

You promote a sense of urgency and establish and implement individual accountability in the team. You consistently apply a business driver and marketplace focus when prioritizing actions. You analyze multiple and diverse sources of information to define problems accurately before moving to solutions. You anticipate customer needs and provide services that are beyond customer expectations.
For This Role You Will Need:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of 5 years experience in materials managements environment (i.e. purchasing production control inventory control & warehousing)
- Must understand basic MRP (Materials Requirements Planning)
- Able to lift parts weighing in excess of 50 pounds (assistance when needed) and to work in bending squatting and standing positions (includes working off ladders) for long periods of time (in excess of one hour)
- Work overtime as required
- Effective communication skills: verbal and written (English)
- Follow written and/or oral instructions in English
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
