NXP is building new teams in Catania to create high impact microcontrollers (MCU) as part of NXPs intelligent AI at the Edge. This team will include a wide range of engineering talent from analog to SOC digital design. Full product development local willproductworld class products at a world class pace.
This team will include all key engineering disciplines in Design Architecture VerificationDfTand Physical Design to produce high performance and quality products.
Working in afast-pacedconsumerenvironment we are looking for an outstanding manager to lead our Analog Layout team will include support for MCU and for analog custom products being designed both in Catania but also globally.
We arenowhiringPower Architects todefinearchitectand drive implementation ofDC-DC systems for integration in Microcontroller(MCU)productsand for MCU based systems.
Role Summary:
Define architect and DC-DC systems for integration in Microcontroller(MCU)productsand for MCU based systems
System simulation of DC-DC systems
Quantify block level specificationsfor implementation
Quantify implementation impairments in overall system performance
Ensure architecture & implementation meet systemrequirementsboth pre and post silicon
YourResponsibility:
Work with system architects and marketing to develop power solutions for MCU based products.
DefineinnovativeDC-DC switcher architectures including buck buck-boostand boost include capacitive converters.
Simulation of DC-DC switcher architectures including digital control and analog impairments using simulatorslikematlabSimplisor equivalent.
Block level analog design whenrequired including layout oversightreviewand signoff.
Work with analog and digital designers to implementarchitectureand ensure that requirements are met before AND aftertapeout.
Mentorshipand developmentof junior engineers
Your Profile:
Mastersdegree in electronic engineering
10 years of product development experience including switch mode power supplies design and architecture.
Strong and effective communicationand teamworkskills
