The Role:
We are seeking a motivated Trade Assistant to join our workshop this role you will support tradespeople with manufacturing assembly maintenance and preparation of longwall equipment and components. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone looking to start or grow a career in mining equipment fabrication.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist qualified tradespeople with fabrication assembly and maintenance tasks
Prepare materials tools and equipment for workshop jobs
Support the team in maintaining a safe clean and organised workspace
Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times
Learn and develop skills in a practical hands-on environment
What Were Looking For:
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
Team player with a positive attitude
Previous workshop or trade experience is an advantage but not essential

Full-time position with a compressed work week (4 day week)
