Position Title: Student Support Center Teacher (General Education Teacher)Reports to: Building PrincipalJob Overview:Working under the general direction of the building administrator the Student Support Center Teacher will assume supervisory responsibilities for the daily operation of the Student Support Services Program as well as provide behavioral Job Functions:Supervise students in an appropriate documentation necessary to Student Support behavior and crisis plans and progress reports. Support students in processing behavioral students and teachers with implementation of behavior contracts/plans and crisis reentry plans with the students support team (Classroom Teacher Parents Administrator etc.)Support students with academic work that they have been assigned while receiving behavior with the building administrator to discuss student progress and other school documentation regarding student incident and interpret data in order to identify behavior co-workers and work toward a productive team effectively and positively with students staff and potential problems and effectively participate in their assignments in a willing a cooperative to keep informed of important school independence and show a good record of attendance and strict confidentiality of the and comply with all school policies and positive and respectful interactions with appropriate control when dealing with studentsProvide support to duty teachers as needed or may be required weekly as determined by the building direct instruction as -teach with a Special Needs Educator as determined by the building Education Teacher - NH Elementary Education CertifiedCrisis Prevention Institute CertificationDemonstrated ability to work with children in a variety of settingsWorking Conditions:Daily walking sitting standing and bending primarily in the Student Support Services room
