Absolut Care of Allegany is hiring a Director of Nursing (DON) to lead clinical operations in a small close-knit skilled nursing community. This role is ideal for a hands-on nursing leader who values relationships quality care and team culture.
Key Responsibilities
Direct all nursing services in a skilled nursing facility
Ensure NYS DOH and CMS regulatory compliance
Lead coach and support nursing staff
Oversee staffing scheduling quality measures and survey readiness
Partner with the Administrator and interdisciplinary team
Qualifications
RN license (required)
DON or nursing leadership experience in long-term care preferred
Strong knowledge of skilled nursing regulations
Collaborative resident-focused leadership style
