Position: Chief Financial and Administrative Officer (DAF)
COMPANY OVERVIEW
We are recruiting on behalf of one of our clients operating in the palm oil and soap refinery sector.
POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the General Manager the Chief Financial and Administrative Officer is responsible for defining the company's financial policy and ensuring optimal availability of financial and human resources.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Planning
- Develop action plans (financial tax HR etc.) and submit them for validation to management
- Ensure implementation of action plans and achievement of expected results
- Prepare the department's budget and present it to General Management
- Allocate resources to team members and evaluate their performance
Human Resources Management
- Propose and implement HR management policies
- Supervise implementation of recruitment promotion and departure policies
- Ensure optimization of human resources based on identified job requirements
- Coordinate staff training and evaluation policies
- Guarantee compliance with employment regulations and decisions
Financial Management
- Develop and monitor the company's budget
- Produce financial and accounting information
- Implement management control tools with analytical accounting adapted to refinery and soap manufacturing activities
- Manage cash flow and relationships with financial partners (banks and others)
- Analyze the company's financial and tax situation
Tax & Compliance
- Identify and prevent tax risks
- Coordinate tax customs and social audits (CNPS and others)
Performance Monitoring
- Ensure company profitability through relevant dashboards
- Organize Board of Directors meetings and manage relationships with statutory auditors
REPORTING REQUIREMENTS
- Daily weekly and monthly dashboards
- Quarterly and annual financial statements and DSF
- Periodic staff evaluation reports
- Social reports and specific project reports
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education : MBA or Master's degree (Bac 5) in Accounting and Finance
Experience
- Min 7 years of experience in accounting and financial management
- Preferably in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector
Skills & Competencies
- Knowledge of accounting tax and social standards
- Proficiency in management IT tools (ERP)
Languages French and English
Required Skills:
Financial strategy and cash flow management FMCG/Agro-industrial financial expertise Tax compliance and risk management HR policy development and implementation
