About the Role
We are seeking female Aboriginal Support Worker(s) to join our team and support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander participants to live meaningful self-directed lives within their community. The preference for female workers is due to the request of culturally appropriate services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander female participants.*
This role is about more than providing support it is about building respectful relationships understanding cultural identity and supporting participants in ways that honour their values family and community connections.
You will work alongside participants to support daily living community participation wellbeing and personal goals while bringing your lived experience cultural knowledge and strengths into the role.
Who Were Looking For
We strongly encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to apply. You may have lived experience community knowledge or previous experience in support work or you may be looking to start a new pathway into the sector. We value what you bring not just whats written on paper.
