Open Source Full Stack Developer

We are looking for a backendleaning Full Stack Developer.This role is NOT productfocused; instead you will build internal platforms automation frameworks developer tools and system-level services that power engineering at scale. You will help create foundational capabilities that reduce toil improve reliability and enable longterm automation across the organization.

Responsibilities

BackEnd Engineering - 75%

• Build internal services & automation tools used by infrastructure DevOps SRE and developer teams.
• Develop APIs microservices and system integrations that automate manual workflows and reduce operational overhead.
• Design backend architecture focused on scalability reliability observability and longterm maintainability.
• Implement data models storage strategies and caching appropriate for internal system workloads.
• Build orchestration logic around CI/CD workflows infra provisioning identity/access config management and cloud automation.
• Develop platform components that abstract away complex infrastructure for other engineering teams.
• Containerize and deploy services using Docker Kubernetes and IaC tools.
• Own endtoend lifecycle of internal services: design build deploy support iterate.

FrontEnd Engineering - 25%

• Build lightweight UIs/dashboards for:
  • system visibility
  • tooling interfaces
  • workflow automation
  • platform selfservice portals
• Develop clean maintainable UI components in React Vue or Angular.
• Integrate UI with internal APIs providing intuitive access to automation & orchestration features.
• Ensure responsive accessible frontend design suitable for internal teams.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong proficiency in backend development ( Python Go Java/Spring or similar).
• Experience building internal tooling platform services or automation frameworks.
• Solid understanding of Linux containers orchestration (Kubernetes) and CI/CD systems.
• Experience with databases (PostgreSQL MySQL MongoDB Redis) and designing internal data workflows.
• Solid frontend capability in JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one major framework.
• Experience with Git-based workflows opensource tooling and package management.
• Strong API design skills (REST or GraphQL) with a focus on internal developer experience.
• Familiarity with microservices distributed systems concepts and servicetoservice communication patterns.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in platform engineering DevOps infrastructure automation or SREadjacent work.
• Experience with IaC (Terraform Helm CloudFormation Ansible).
• Background in building internal dashboards portals or developer platforms.
• Experience with observability tools (Prometheus Grafana ELK OpenTelemetry).
• Contributions to opensource projects or maintaining internal libraries.
• Experience in start-ups or earlystage engineering teams.
