Job Summary

Seeking a Commercial HVAC Estimator for a direct hire opportunity with our client in Nashville TN.

Salary is between $80000 - $115000

Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate and detailed project estimates for HVAC construction projects
Review project plans specifications and other documents to determine the scope of work and materials required
Collaborate with project managers and other team members to develop cost-effective solutions
Conduct site visits and gather necessary information to accurately estimate project costs
Analyze labor material and equipment costs to determine project budgets
Create and submit timely and competitive bids for construction projects
Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers
Provide support and guidance to project teams regarding cost control measures

Qualifications:

5 years of experience estimating for commercial HVAC projects
Strong knowledge of construction methods materials and building codes
Knowledge of estimating software strong computer skills including Microsoft 365 applications
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in estimating project costs
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
Effective communication and negotiation skills
