JOB PURPOSE
Assist with Accurate and safe set-up of electrical equipment installation maintenance and commissioning of electrical wiring control and instrumentation systems as well as fault finding and repairs on electrical systems on site and in the workshop.
REQUIRED QUALIFUCATIONS
- Matric (Grade 12)
- N3 Certificate in Electrical Engineering
- Trade Test (Non-negotiable)
- ORHVS Certificate (Advantage)
- First Aid Level 1 (Advantage)
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE
- Knowledge of Schneider & Siemens electrical products would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of Electrical systems functional design analyses would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of Electrical systems especially MCCs.
- Basic knowledge of Computer Aided Design Systems and Tools.
- Basic knowledge of Soft Starters and Drives setup and commissioning.
- Knowledge of electrical equipment and tools including their designs uses repair and maintenance.
- Knowledge of electrical hazards.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and Outlook.
- Valid Drivers License.

- 2-3 years experience in Electrical areas within a construction environment.
- 2-3 years post experience relevant to the maintenance of electrical infrastructure including back-up generators interior & exterior lighting MV switchgear and transformers Uninterruptable Power Supplies (UPSs) and LV building installations
- Proof of medium voltage or ORHVS training (Advantage)
- Must have troubleshooting skills on electrical infrastructure
- Fault Finding & Repairs.
- Panel Wiring Experience
