Were looking for a Unity Developer Intern who can support the development of XR applications (MR/VR) and help implement multiplayer networking using Photon Fusion and/or Unity Netcode. You should also have intermediate knowledge in 3D tools (preferably Blender or Maya/other equivalent) to handle basic asset prep and optimization.
Responsibilities
1. Assist in building and maintaining MR/VR experiences in Unity.
2. Optimize performance for standalone VR headsets (draw calls batching LODs lighting texture sizing profiler checks).
3. Work with 3D assets: import/export pipelines scale/orientation fixes colliders mesh cleanup texture/material setup.
4. Use Blender/Maya to do intermediate tasks like basic modeling edits UV fixes polygon reduction and export (FBX/GLB).
5. Collaborate using Git (or similar) follow coding standards and document work clearly.
Requirements
1. Unity (C#) fundamentals: prefabs scenes components ScriptableObjects basic editor workflow.
2. Hands-on understanding of XR Development (VR/MR concepts camera rig interactions input).
3. Familiarity with multiplayer networking concepts (client/server authority/ownership sync RPCs).
4. Intermediate experience with Blender (preferred) or Maya/3ds Max (basic-to-intermediate asset work).
5. Basic knowledge of 3D optimization (polycount textures lightmapping basics).
