YOUR EXPERTISE AND SKILLS

Individuals with experience in the following are preferred:

  • Working with air testing equipment and analyzers
  • Experience in emissions testing using both Canadian and US EPA emission testing methodologies
  • Working with electrical equipment
  • Working with mechanical equipment
  • Repairing electrical and mechanical equipment
  • Experience with calibrating equipment
  • Working in an outdoor environment
  • Working independently
  • Farming experience or background a plus

A DAY IN THE LIFE

The job will require the following general tasks to be completed on a routine basis:

  • Assisting with emissions testing programs throughout North America
  • Driving to and from work sites including hauling and parking equipment trailers
  • Preparation packing set up testing and demobilizing for testing programs
  • Calibrating and maintaining emissions sampling equipment
  • Repairing emissions sampling equipment
  • Operating sampling equipment
  • Cleaning sampling equipment
  • Delivering samples
  • Data entry in Microsoft Excel and Workday
  • Keeping vehicles storage areas and lab areas clean and organized

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate should have the following:

  • A valid Class G drivers license
  • A valid passport and ability to travel and work in the United States
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to work at heights (50ft-200ft)
  • Ability to work in hot and cold ambient conditions
  • Ability to work overtime
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting (50 lbs.)
  • Ability to travel on short notice
  • Be able to work effectively in a team environment
