YOUR EXPERTISE AND SKILLS

Individuals with experience in the following are preferred:

Working with air testing equipment and analyzers
Experience in emissions testing using both Canadian and US EPA emission testing methodologies
Working with electrical equipment
Working with mechanical equipment
Repairing electrical and mechanical equipment
Experience with calibrating equipment
Working in an outdoor environment
Working independently
Farming experience or background a plus

A DAY IN THE LIFE

The job will require the following general tasks to be completed on a routine basis:

Assisting with emissions testing programs throughout North America
Driving to and from work sites including hauling and parking equipment trailers
Preparation packing set up testing and demobilizing for testing programs
Calibrating and maintaining emissions sampling equipment
Repairing emissions sampling equipment
Operating sampling equipment
Cleaning sampling equipment
Delivering samples
Data entry in Microsoft Excel and Workday
Keeping vehicles storage areas and lab areas clean and organized

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate should have the following:

A valid Class G drivers license
A valid passport and ability to travel and work in the United States
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to work at heights (50ft-200ft)
Ability to work in hot and cold ambient conditions
Ability to work overtime
Ability to perform heavy lifting (50 lbs.)
Ability to travel on short notice
Be able to work effectively in a team environment
