LOCUM OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

Darwin & Remote Northern Territory 46 Month Contract

We are currently seeking an experienced Locum Occupational Therapist to join a well-established allied health service based in Darwin delivering services across Darwin and remote Northern Territory communities.

This role offers a unique mix of clinic-based work and outreach supported by a highly structured team and excellent logistical support.

Location

  • Primary base: Darwin NT
  • Outreach: Day trips to remote communities with occasional overnight stays

Accommodation & Transport

  • Fully furnished self-contained apartment provided
  • Located approx. 15-minute walk from the clinic or <$10 Uber
  • Coles complex 100m from accommodation
  • Work vehicle provided for all outreach school community and home visits

Caseload

  • Work across the lifespan: children adolescents and adults
  • Settings include:
    • Clinic
    • Schools & childcare
    • Aged care
    • Home visits
  • Support from Allied Health Assistants

Support

  • Full admin and finance support
  • No invoicing or appointment bookings required
  • Focus purely on clinical work

Contract Details

  • Locum position
  • Start: ASAP
  • Minimum 4 months preference for 6 months

Requirements

  • Qualified Occupational Therapist
  • AHPRA registration
  • Comfortable working across the lifespan
  • Willingness to travel within NT and participate in outreach work
