Responsibilities

Responsible for assisting laboratory staff in routine tests used in diagnosis and treatment of disease. Phlebotomy and specimen collection. Computer data entry and documentation. Responsible for performing all duties in accordance with Practice policies and procedures.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:
1. High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) PLUS 2. At least one year of experience in a medical setting. 3. Minimum one year of laboratory experience; customer service specimen processing 4. Demonstrated knowledge of computer systems and design. 5. Ability to work both independently and as a part of the team 6. Ability to communicate effectively and must possess good written and oral communication skills. 7. Ability to understand and apply accurate procedures in specimen handling and clerical processing.
PREFERRED:
1. CMA/RMA 2. Clinic setting experience. 3. Phlebotomy experience. 4. Detail oriented and precise. 5. Possesses the tact to deal effectively with patients guests co- workers and physicians.

0830-1700
