Job Summary

Stream powers Chat Video Activity Feeds and AI Moderation for billions of global end-users across thousands of different apps like Strava Bumble eBay Patreon and many more.

Were looking for a Technical Director of Engineering to lead our core business teams responsible for all three API products: Chat Feed and Moderation.

What will you do:

Youll lead multiple teams until you cover the full scope eventually leading 3 teams: chat feeds moderation.
Will be responsible for product roadmap customer launches people management and general project management;

Apply if you:

Have shipped production code within the last 6 months and have an active Github/OSS contributions
Hired and managed multiple product or platform teams of strong/successful engineers in the past ideally in a startup/VC backed environment
Love building large-scale user-facing APIs in Go (no need to know it beforehand we can teach you)
Understand distributed systems tradeoffs and can debug performance issues at scale.
Already using AI tools to amplify your productivity
Work hard and obsess over writing code that is fast & reliable
