Job Description Summary
As Wind DT Blade Inspection Technology Leader you will be responsible for development deployment and monitoring of Blade Inspection technology at all wind blade manufacturing and customer sites. As part of this role you will Lead the Development & Deployment efforts in partnership with Business Stakeholders in identifying the critical infrastructure needs of the factories and customer sites and collaborating with GEV CTO and CISO team to deliver on the site readiness for deployment and monitoring of the technologies. This role requires a strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle for new feature development on WINS platform and knowledge of OT Network and related product knowledge security protocols and standards and passion for leveraging technology to solve real-world problems in the renewable energy sector. This role requires strong Leadership skills in partnering with Manufacturing Projects and Services functional leaders this also involves identifying new inspection technologies and implementing the technologies to drive Wind Quality KPIs.Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Identify new inspection technologies to be deployed at manufacturing and customer sites in partnership with Business Stakeholders and Vendors
- Evaluate new inspection technologies for industry standard protocols and GEV product and deployment standards suggested by GEV CTO/CISO teams
- Partner with Vendor Business Stakeholders and other DT Teams to develop and implement digital inspection systems using computer vision machine learning algorithms and other digital technologies to identify defects and inconsistencies in products during production.
- Collaborate with GEV CTO and CISO teams for ASRB reviews and sign-off for new technology introductions and upgradations
- Drive Governance for DBC Blade Inspection for new requirements and existing features
- Drive and monitor site infrastructure readiness for all manufacturing and customer sites
- Training and Support: Train production personnel on the proper use of digital inspection systems to provide technical support when needed.
In the role you will:
- Lead Quality tools development and deployment for manufacturing supply chain projects and services process this involves managing all aspects of application delivery across multiple functions business units and regions.
- Foster a product-driven mindset within Digital Technology and the business with a strong culture of first-time right high say/do ratio cost-effective execution.
- Partner with Business functional Stakeholders GEV DT and Vendor Partners to drive right priorities at agreed timelines.
- Establish a culture of innovation high-performance collaboration respect and integrity. Positively & collaboratively lead the business through change.
Qualifications / Requirements
Basic Qualifications
- BS Degree in Business Administration or equivalent OR BS Degree in STEM field (Science Technology Engineering Math) Information Systems Information Technology (IT) Computer Science or Computer Engineering
- Demonstrated experience in one or more of these functional areas: manufacturing supply chain quality
- Minimum 5 years of experience leading complex diverse projectsfunctional transformation projects in collaboration with Business
- Minimum 10 years of experience on Digital Tools with experience across product lines cross-functional initiatives
