Overview
The Manager Compensation Business Partner provides strategic leadership in designing evaluating and implementing enterprise-wide compensation programs that advance Sentaras mission to improve health every day and to be the trusted partner to individuals and the community.
Guided by Sentaras core valuesPeople Quality Patient Safety Service and Integritythis leader ensures compensation strategies that are competitive equitable compliant and supportive of a high-performing mission-driven workforce.
Acting with a business partner mindset this role builds credibility and confidence with leaders by translating organizational needs into effective pay solutions that reflect Sentaras commitments to dignity respect collaboration and stewardship.
This position manages a team of Compensation Program Managers and analysts and serves as a strategic advisor to executives HR partners and Talent Acquisitionensuring Sentaras compensation programs support the attraction development and retention of top talent across clinical and nonclinical roles for broad-based physician and executive compensation.
Education
- Bachelors degree required; Masters preferred.
Certification/Licensure
- Certifications (CCP CECP GRP) preferred.
Experience
- 5 years progressive compensation experience; healthcare background strongly preferred.
- Expertise in base pay incentive design physician/executive compensation market pricing job evaluation.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into leader-friendly insights.
