Job Summary
Responsible for inspecting calibrating testing and repairing medical electronic equipment and do so by using a variety of tools and computer applications.Qualifications
Essential Functions
Perform scheduled maintenance inspections and performance assurance inspections on specialized electronic equipment to ensure safe and effective operating conditions.
-Test and calibrate components using a variety of manuals troubleshooting techniques and code requirements.
-Ensure compliance with safety regulations and policies.
-Ensure documentation is complete timely and accurate.
-Repair and replace complex biomedical electronic equipment and systems.
-Install and adjust a variety of electronic biomedical and research equipment.
-Diagnose equipment malfunctions with accuracy and precision.
-Function as the senior technologist to provide guidance and mentorship to other BMETs.

Associates Degree Biomedical Engineering required

- Ability to interpret technical data like electronic circuit diagrams schematics and blueprints.

- Display strong leadership and communication skills to clearly guide peers.
- Possess a high level of technical expertise in biomedical equipment and specialty electronic equipment to analyze and problem solve complex issues.
