- Contract Position Title: Corporate Legal Counsel
- This is not a leadership role; there will be no personnel management responsibilities.
- Mandatory: Advanced oral communication in English.
We are looking for a Legal Business Partner specialized in Labor Law and Contracts B2B (19660) with conversational English focused on labor law compliance data privacy and with knowledge of contracts/outsourcing services.
This role will act as the internal legal advisor for HR Operations Finance and Sales helping anticipate contingencies prevent conflicts and ensure efficient labor operations. The position will work closely with and report to our Senior Corporate Counsel responsible for Latam operations.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide support on Peruvian labor law matters (hiring terminations and compliance).
- Act as an internal legal consultant for HR Finance Operations among others.
- Implement and monitor compliance in Peru and other Latam countries if required.
- Negociation of service contracts (SOW NDA MSA) in B2B environments.
- Support corporate secretarial tasks: corporate minutes powers of attorney and registrations.
- Explain legal risks in clear and simple terms anticipating operational cost and reputational impacts.
- Review corporate documents required for audits compliance or internal requests.
- Align service delivery conditions with labor regulations and project models.
Requirements and Skills
- Licensed attorney. Specialization or certificates in Labor Law Labor Relations or Occupational Health and Safety (preferred).
- 5 to 8 years of experience in Peruvian labor law ideally in companies consulting firms outsourcing/BPO IT retail or corporate services.
- Experience providing internal multisector legal advisory (HR Finance Operations).
- Knowledge of service contracts (SOW NDA MSA) in B2B environments.
- Knowledge of personal data protection and information security.
- Advanced conversational English (B2 to C1) will be assessed during the interview.
- Nice to have (not mandatory): experience with other Latam countries.
- Valuable: experience in outsourcing companies software agencies consulting BPO retail or professional services.
