Job Summary

The following vacancy exists in Goshen Community Schools for the2025-26school year:

Goshen Intermediate School

School Nutrition Staff:Dishwasher

POSITION PURPOSE: Ensuring all dishes plates and utensils are properly cleaned sanitized and stored in the appropriate places.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Collects used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas
Loads and unloads washing machines
Washes specific items by hand (e.g. wooden cutting boards large pots and delicate china)
Stores clean dishes glasses equipment appropriately
Ensures there are always clean dishes glasses and utensils especially during peak hours
Checks dish machine operation and promptly reports any technical/performance issues
Washes and sanitizes kitchen area including the floors

REQUIREMENTS:

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Work experience as a dishwasher
Hands on experience with industrial dish machines

QUALIFICATIONS:

Time management skills
Attention to detail and sanitation rules

HOURS:182 days per year;20 hours per week;daily hours (10:00am to 2:00pm)

SALARY:$16.80-$17.10 rate is dependent upon education and/or experience. (Schedule #24-1)
