Chairo Christian School is a non-denominational Christian school with over 1900 Kinder to Year 12 students attending five picturesque campuses in West and South Gippsland the Latrobe Valley and the south eastern outskirts of Melbourne.

We are seeking to appoint an Outdoor & Sports Trainee to join the team at our Drouin campus in February 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for a Year 12 graduate to have a gateway into this field while undertaking a Cert IV in Outdoor Leadership.

Some key responsibilities will include:

Preparing for and assisting in programs including camps excursions and sports days

Running or assisting with activities while participating in programs

Assisting with packing and unpacking of equipment before and after programs

Helping to ensure the smooth and successful running of programs

The successful candidate will have the following:

Demonstrated commitment to the schools Statement of Faith

Ability to work as part of a team

Ability to relate to students and staff members in a caring friendly and helpful manner
