JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Data Engineering Intern you will gain hands-on experience ingesting data into big data platforms and making it available to the business to support decision making and insights. Working alongside experienced engineers scientists and architects youll contribute to building scalable solutions and learn how data is designed managed and applied across enterprise systems. This role offers exposure to real-world projects in a collaborative environment with opportunities to sharpen technical skills and develop a strong foundation for a future career in data and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop data pipelines using Python PySpark SQL and other tools
• Use coding agents to speed up the delivery of data pipelines
• Create enterprise-level code and repeatable processes
• Operationalize data pipelines and enhance data quality across both systems and analytics solutions
• Collaborate with data scientists and data architects on multiple projects
• Partner with internal teams to support initiatives and improve performance.
• Generate relevant documentation ready for business use

Qualifications:

• Quantitative background and analytical problem-solving ability
• Strong working knowledge of Python PySpark SQL GitHub and other tools including Microsoft Office specifically Excel Word and PowerPoint
• Strong precise written and verbal communication skills with ability to articulate complex topics
• High standard of accuracy attention to detail and speed under time-sensitive deadlines
• Helpful but not required: Experience with Azure DevOps Slack Microsoft Teams Cursor Claude and GitHub Copilot
• Enrolled in a graduate degree program in Data Engineering Data Analytics or a related field of study
• Graduating between May 2026-December 2026

The compensation for this position is $31/hour.

Additional Compensation:

Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including business requirements prior experience current skills and geographical location.

• Corporate Positions:Inaddition to the base salary this role may be eligible to participateina quarterly or annual bonus program based onindividual and company performance.

• Onsite Property Positions:Inaddition to the base salary this role may be eligible to participatein weekly monthly and/or quarterly bonus programs.
