This job requires an engineer who is adept at both building software solutions as well as understanding and integrating with industry standard tools and methods around security monitoring. The ideal candidate will have professional experience with Python Java and/or other programming languages and be ready to expand their breadth of knowledge as the team and role evolves. Our ideal candidate will also be comfortable working in Azure environments and data pipeline solutions and will have a strong background in data engineering and security. We are looking for an Engineer with a growth mindset. This is a dynamic role on a dynamic team we do what it takes to solve the security challenges we are faced with.
Responsibilities:
You will lead drive and implement secure software solutions for security monitoring detection and remediation using Java Python and other languages when necessary.
You are expected to collaborate with partners within the team as well as across the organization and company to collect requirements and provide mutually beneficial outcomes.
You will execute on the goals of the team delivering end to end solutions that balance the needs of the business and the maintainability of software.
You are expected to participate and contribute to the projects owned by other team members and partners.
Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications:
BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline or related practical experience.
4 years experience in software design development and algorithm related solutions.
4 years programming experience in object-oriented programming languages such as GoLang Python Java Javascript C/C C# Rust.
Preferred Qualifications:
BS and 8 years of relevant work experience MS and 7 years of relevant work experience or PhD and 4 years of relevant work experience.
Experience in designing and building infrastructure and web services at large scale especially across hybrid cloud and on-premise environments.
Expert knowledge of computer science with strong competencies in data structures algorithms and software design.
Prior experience with Security and/or Data Engineering strongly preferred.

Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate including but not limited to skill set years & depth of experience certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
