About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in automation frameworks excellent problemsolving abilities and the ability to communicate clearly across crossfunctional teams. This is a hybrid role based in Bengaluru.
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain end-to-end automation frameworks using Playwright.
- Build scalable automation solutions to support continuous integration and delivery.
- Develop and execute automated test scripts for web applications APIs and other software components.
- Collaborate closely with developers QA engineers and product teams to ensure high-quality releases.
- Analyze test results identify defects and provide clear documentation for debugging.
- Drive best practices for test automation code quality and performance optimization.
Qualifications :
- 79 years of total experience in Test Automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright.
- Solid understanding of modern automation tools frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with API testing (e.g. Postman REST Assured).
- Proficiency in any one programming language: Java JavaScript TypeScript Python or C#.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly.
Good to Have
- Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP).
- Knowledge of performance testing tools.
- Exposure to containerization (Docker Kubernetes).
