About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Medior SDET with strong hands-on skills in Playwright automation along with solid manual testing expertise. The ideal candidate should have excellent analytical abilities a strong understanding of testing concepts and the ability to communicate clearly with cross-functional teams. This hybrid role is based in Bengaluru and offers the opportunity to work on high-quality engineering deliverables within an agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design develop and maintain automation test scripts using Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript preferred).
• Perform manual functional regression integration and exploratory testing as needed.
• Build and enhance automation frameworks aligned with project requirements.
• Understand product workflows and create comprehensive test scenarios test cases and test data.
• Work closely with developers business analysts and QA to ensure high-quality releases.
• Participate in requirement analysis sprint discussions and test planning activities.
• Execute test cases log defects and track them to closure with proper documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes standards and best practices.

Qualifications :

• 47 years of total experience in QA with a mix of Automation (Playwright) and Manual Testing.
• Strong hands-on experience in Playwright using JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of SDLC STLC and testing methodologies.
• Experience writing detailed test cases test scripts and defect reports.
• Good knowledge of API testing tools (Postman Swagger etc.).
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines is an advantage.
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Good to Have

• Exposure to other automation frameworks (Selenium Cypress etc.).
• Basic understanding of SQL for backend data validation.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Knowledge of performance testing concepts (not mandatory).
