Primary Purpose
The purpose of the Service Governance Analyst is to support the effective governance of our key Service Partners with effective engagement and coordination of internal and external stakeholders. This includes the following:
- Administration and coordination of Service Partner governance forums with a focus on attention to detail consistency and timeliness specifically supporting the preparation of agendas packs minutes and actions.
- Delivery of the processes and controls for invoice payment and tracking of costs across Service Partners assisting in the preparation of reporting on costs and analysis of costs as required.
- Ensuring reporting received from Service Partners is timely and accurate and being able to effectively manage reporting for internal purposes including the preparation of monthly and quarterly management and Board/Committee reporting.
- Continuous relationship management is in place with an effective and transparent engagement model to ensure that all services are delivered and stakeholder expectations at Rest and our service partners are met or exceeded on an ongoing basis and that mitigation plans are in place should under-performance occur; and
- All Rest stakeholders needs are appropriately coordinated to optimise key service partner engagement.
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities
- Accountable for the coordination and record keeping of Service Partner governance to ensure compliance obligations (in particular CPS230 requirements for Material Service Providers) and Rests Supplier Governance standards are met for the key Service Partners that manage Rests outsourced administration and service functions and insurance arrangements.
- Responsible for working with all Rest stakeholders to:
- facilitate optimal two-way communication with our service partners as required.
- identify priorities for escalation and collaboration with our service partners.
- identify opportunities for delivering improved administration customer and digital services
- ensuring the needs of all teams across Rest have their business requirements met.
- ensure appropriate data security controls and disaster recovery plans are maintained by Service Partners consistent with legislative obligations and Rest requirements.
- Coordinate the monthly and quarterly governance meetings with Service Partners.
- Stakeholder Management of Service Partner representatives to develop a strong partnership and ensure seamless working between Rest and the partner so that feedback is collected and shared by both parties with a view to continuous improvement of the systems and processes.
- Stakeholder Management of Rest business owners to ensure that the needs of all business units are considered and communicated when reviewing processes and procedures.
Qualifications :
- Undergraduate degree in business or other relevant degree
- RG146 or other superannuation certification preferred
Required experience understanding or credentials including:
- Prior experience in the Financial Services sector preferably in superannuation and/or group insurance administration policies and practices.
- Experience in managing stakeholders who engage with major service providers (e.g. facilitation of governance meetings escalation resolution and assessment of the performance of service providers) to maintain compliant and optimal service standards and performance levels.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- Good client relationship management and customer service skills.
- Good leadership and interpersonal skills ability to work effectively as a team member.
- Strong collaboration and influencing skills.
- Knowledge of best practice customer services and managing service standards.
