Description

HPM is seeking an HR Generalist to join our People & Culture team. The HR Generalist provides hands-on support across people operations with a primary focus on recruiting coordination and execution. This role works closely with People & Culture leadership to support recruiting onboarding offboarding HRIS data management employee support and other related ideal candidate is detail-oriented organized bilingual in English and Spanish and an excellent communicator.

Recruiters/Headhunters/Staffing agencies: we are not accepting submissions or referrals. This is a direct hire position only.

HPM is a General Contractor located in Englewood Colorado with a focus in three primary working groups; 1) Federal 2) Commercial and 3) Civil. We work all throughout the front range and select locations throughout Colorado as well as key projects out of state including our secondary office in Anchorage AK. We pride ourselves in managing clean organized and professional projects from start to finish with an emphasis on successful client relationships. Much of our work is for repeat clients including local governments private clients and the federal government. We utilize proven project management fundamentals on each of our projects.

Pay:$65000 - $75000 annually DOE

Key Responsibilities

Recruiting Support

  • Support HR leadership with full-cycle recruiting activities including job postings applicant tracking interview coordination and hiring documentation
  • Screen applications and assist with initial candidate outreach and scheduling
  • Maintain accurate up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system
  • Assist with job offers background checks and onboarding paperwork
  • Serve as a professional and welcoming point of contact for candidates
  • Support recruiting metrics reporting and process improvement efforts

HR Generalist Support

  • Assist HR leadership with onboarding offboarding employee records and HR documentation
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance in personnel files and HR systems
  • Support benefits administration performance management training and policy processes as needed
  • Respond to routine HR inquiries and escalate issues appropriately
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion in all HR matters

Communication & Coordination

  • Communicate clearly and professionally with HR leadership and internal stakeholders
  • Provide bilingual (English/Spanish) support for candidates and employees as needed
  • Assist with translating HR communications and forms
  • Help reinforce a positive respectful and inclusive workplace culture

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 13 years of HR and/or recruiting experience preferably in a support or coordinator role
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (strongly preferred)
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish
  • Ability to follow established processes while adapting to evolving priorities
  • Professional reliable and collaborative working style
  • Experience with HRIS and applicant tracking systems preferred Paycom experience a plus
  • Must be over the age of 18 to apply
  • Must be a US citizen due to federal contractor requirements
  • A valid drivers license and satisfactory driving record is required
  • Motivated self-starter dedicated to excellence and proactive problem-solving
  • Ensure consistent and reliable attendance demonstrating reliability and regularity
  • Sit stand and/or walk for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds frequently

Physical location

This position is primarily an office-based position in a typical business office environment with a low to moderate amount of noise. This position will be asked to occasionally visit job sites within a reasonable distance from the office requiring work boots safety vest and hard hat and weather/working conditions may vary.
