Job Summary
COLSAs Corporate Security team is seeking a qualified Personnel Security Specialist to join our team at our headquarters in Huntsville AL. This is a predominantly on-site position.
Provides industrial security support to ensure adherence of security procedures and requirements of the National Industrial Security Program Manual (NISPOM).
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential functions)
- Utilize DISS for visits (incoming and outgoing) including badge check-in and check-out procedures *
- Working knowledge of ACCS and the SynchronizedPre-deploymentand Operational Tracker (SPOT) *
- Responsible for maintaining document control in accordance with security policies and procedures *
- May be responsible for maintenance of DD Form 254s.
- Maintains security files and/or files containing security sensitive information *
- Responsible for the duplication and/or destruction of security sensitive information *
- Assists with security portion of new hire orientation by conducting briefs on corporate security policies.
- May request submit and safeguard clearance applications for new employees.
- Monitors security procedures; ensures compliance with all aspects of the program including personnel physical and administrative security systems and procedures. *
