Therefore we are looking for the right person as

Head of Renewables Sales

You will lead a team of 12 FTE with a focus on selling standardised power purchase agreements mainly on (standardized) balancing PPAs that we are already contracting for 3rd party wind- and solar assets where cable in combination with renewable certificates (GoO ROC Rego). Together with the originators in Renewables Origination that will predominantly focus on large CPPAs and (Business Area Wind) partnership projects the department will be responsible for growing our external renewable sales business. Renewables Sales will thus predominantly focus on growth with 3rd parties with a main focus on german Direktvermarktung.

In this role you will be reporting to the Director Renewables Origination.

What will you do

  • Develop and implement sales strategies for 3rd party renewables and certificates with a strong focus on balancing PPAs for 3rd party wind- and solar assets
  • Structured deals with renewable certificates (GoO ROC Rego)
  • Maintain and growth of inside sales activities and lead interface to Renewables Portfolio Management
  • Lead customer service activities
  • Drive a customer service-oriented culture without compromising regulatory requirements
  • Grow the portfolio with 3rd parties in all Vattenfall regions
  • Planning and implementation of marketing activities for related Sales acitivities
  • Responsible for a successful pricing in the complete value chain and for ROC and Rego portfolios

Qualifications :

Who are you

  • > 5 years of experience in a managerial role
  • Academic degree - a relevant University degree (or equal)
  • Strong customer network in the renewables industry for balancing PPAs with a main focus on the german market
  • Over 5 years of experience in the power origination and sales business ideally in the renewables sales business
  • Strong PnL and performance orientation
  • Strong network in the developer field especially in the german Direktvermarktung market
  • Excellent cooperation and communication skills with the ability to convey complex information and create an understanding and momentum around our growth agenda
  • Ability to build trustful relationships with different stakeholders
  • Business experience in digital marketing activities
  • Strong leadership skills people and change management skills
  • An Open Active and Positive attitude
  • fluent in German
