Review & understand inputs from the client (Cable tray Pipe support and HVAC specifications design methodology & specifications).
Perform Load calculations for pipe support under different cases such as Pipe empty operating test case friction load anchor load along with seismic load.
Perform analysis & design of electrical cable tray support Pipe support and HVAC supports including steel to steel connection & steel to concrete anchor design as per the norms mentioned in the client specification.
Able to identify design issues and to provide a practical solution strengthening measures for modification.
Perform counter-calculations of existing support design of electrical cable tray support pipe supports & HVAC to verify & validate for new loadings & modifications due to a design change or open points.
Produce associated calculation notes to communicate the results effectively to technician / PDMS designer.
Modifications of the associated calculation reports.
Good understanding of Euro codes EC2 & EC3 & RCC-M
Working with the designers to implement modifications to 3D models
Qualifications :
Minimum qualification: Bachelor of Engineering in Civil/Structural engineering.
Desirable qualification: Postgraduate in Engineering.
Experience in STAD SAP etc with seismic analysis is a must. Experience in RSTAB Verif Platine and Navisworks is desirable.
