Core hours 6AM-2PM Monday-Friday with flexibility needed for extended hour clinics
Community Medical Services (CMS) is hiring a Clinical Coordinator to help those suffering from addictions to opioids and other illicit substances gain access to this clinically focused behavioral health role youll work mostly from home except for at least one day a week when youll travel to your assigned clinic in the Phoenix metro area.

Were looking for someone who:
- Is local to the Phoenix metro area. Well need you in the clinic at least once a week.
- Loves paperwork. No really. Youll be managing a lot of it.
- Is comfortable carrying a caseload of individual clients based on clinical need. You may be called upon to assist with intakes discharges coordination of care counseling or other clinical needs of clients.
- Can maintain behavioral health licensure completing all required documents in required time frames as required by a BHP for assigned location(s).
- May need supervised clinical hours to gain a degree license or professional experience.
To thrive in this role you must be able to:
- Review documentation of peer support specialists and clinicians service plans and assessments.
- Work with the Quality Management Coordinator to respond to grievances appeals complaints and critical incidents such as incident accident or death reports.
- Demonstrate sufficient knowledge and understanding of human behavior and of general mental health issues treatment planning and the field of human social services.
- Work with the Clinical Supervisor to ensure all appropriate professional standards and requirements are maintained as directed by the local CARF state and federal agencies.
- Be available to offer leadership and cooperation to clients and community providers in the development of clinical effective services.
- Work cooperatively with the members of senior management to implement training programs for staff and for meeting regulatory agency guidelines.
Requirements
- Associate Level License (LAC) or higher (required)
- Behavioral Health Licensed Professional such as LPC LCSW LMFT (preferred)
- Masters degree in behavioral health or related field (required)
- At least two years of experience in counseling
- Ability to travel to assigned CMS sites at least once a week
