Introduction
The Cloud Architect plays a pivotal role in designing scalable and secure cloud infrastructure for our organization. Based in Singapore the successful candidate will leverage deep expertise in cloud technologies to support digital transformation initiatives and ensure robust cost-effective and compliant cloud solutions that meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Design and architect secure scalable and high-performing cloud solutions on platforms such as AWS and Microsoft Azure
Lead cloud architect for GF initiatives including application modernization and data migration ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teamsincluding developers DevOps security and business stakeholdersto understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Work with Solution Delivery to solidify cloud governance frameworks policies and best practices to ensure compliance with local (Singapore) and international regulations.
Stay current with cloud technology trends evaluate new tools and services and recommend improvements to enhance the organizations cloud strategy.
Document architectural designs workflows and operational procedures.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
7 years of experience in cloud architecture engineering or related roles.
Strong experience with one or more cloud platforms (AWS Azure) and associated services.
Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform CloudFormation etc.
Solid understanding of networking security best practices and cloud-native application design.
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g. Docker Kubernetes).
Relevant cloud certifications (e.g. AWS Solutions Architect Azure Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Familiarity with Engineering and Manufacturing environments a plus
