Leading New York City health system seeks a Nurse Manager for their Brooklyn family practice.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day clinical operations of the medical practice.
- Counsels and coaches staff concerning their work performance and development holds staff accountable for performance.
- Prepares staff schedules in a timely manner.
- Responds to staff provider and patient satisfaction needs and identifies and implements solutions in collaboration with related departments as needed.
- Communicate with patient/family needs in timely positive manner and ensures service excellence among all staff.
- Promotes safety and risk free environment for patients and staff.
- Conducts quality improvement monitoring and participates in problem identification and solution to improve key processes/systems/patient care; shares results in staff meetings.
- Establish and maintain a process to promote a multidisciplinary team approach in developing implementing and evaluating patient care and/or family education.
- Provide direct patient care as needed to meet patient care needs or role model behavior.
Qualifications:
- New York State Registered Nurse license
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing required
- Masters Degree required
- Three years of ambulatory care experience preferred
- Charge Nurse experience
Salary to: $130000 - $135000
