The Montgomery County Parks TrainingTeam has an amazing opportunity for a TrainingCoordinatorIntern. The intern will assist with training and organizational development needs for Montgomery Parks employees while completing a training campaign from start to finish.
This position pays at a rate of $18.00 per hour to $20.00 per hour depending on education and qualifications.
Internship is from June 2026 to August 2026.
Work schedule is 25 hours per week (Monday-Friday). Work schedule will be determined at time of hire.

Examples of Important Duties
Evaluate current training provided
Develop a training campaign and present results
Support research into Training providers
Assisting with training gap analyses
Reconciling classes from Learning Management System
Booking event spaces for training sessions
Assisting with marketing material for promoting training events
Analyzing data from internal surveys
Assist with planning for annual training events
Minimum Qualifications
Applicant should be currently enrolled in a college program focusing on training organization development HR industrial design or related field.

May be subject to medical drug and alcohol testing.
Physical Demands / Working Conditions:
This position primarily works in Wheaton HQ however will require onsite visits to other facilities in the Montgomery County area.
This position is a part-time position which does not provide benefits.
A criminal background investigation will be completed prior to hire.
