As our Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) you will be pivotal in producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions.

Each day you will perform a variety of imaging examinations including X-rays ultrasound diagnostic fluoroscopy CT/CAT scans and MRIs while actively contributing to a positive patient experience through direct interaction.

To excel you must deeply understand diagnostic imagings critical importance encompassing expertise in workflow patient positioning and capturing precise results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses.

• Utilizes good radiation safety practices for patients self and others.
• Displays competency performing procedures; follows every step for taking an x-ray (two patient identifier gel in/gel out etc). Always produces high quality films. Accurately marks radiographs with Rs and Ls supine and upright (if appropriate); and assures that patient information is clearly visible.
• Competent in two or more areas of Diagnostic Radiology (fluoro portables OR Litho ED/Trauma)
• Contributes to meeting our department goals (Patient Satisfaction productivity supply cost reduction etc.)
• Understands the interrelation and operates the various computer systems such as RCO Radnet PACS and other hospital systems. Assists in the reconciliation of errors duplicate orders dictation etc.
• Assists Imaging Support in locating films/images loading CDs printing reports and assisting physicians.

• Completion of approved American College of Radiology: Radiologic Technologist Program and Three years radiology experience upon hire
• Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT upon hire
• Basic Life Support - CPR upon hire
