As a Test Engineer youll be at the forefront of ensuring the quality and reliability of our world-class high voltage switchgear. How Youll Make an Impact:
- Execute final inspection and routine testing of Gas-insulated switchgear (GIS) subassembly up to 550kV nominal voltage;
- SF6 (Sulfur hexafluoride) Gas handling and leakage testing. High voltage and mechanical testing;
- Perform partial discharge (PD) measurements using radio frequency (RF) and acoustic techniques;
- Evaluate and diagnose GIS subassemblies. Identify functional problems and suggest solutions;
- Support production with measurements and technical consulting;
- Technically support and implement maintenance measures for test facilities and measuring Equipment;
- Initiates and drives continuous improvement activities. Develops implements and improves relevant policies and procedures to improve effectiveness across the engineering function;
- Primarily responsible for high voltage testing dielectric testing on power equipment e.g. Switchgear and Cable Accessories products data collection and development of test reports;
- Implementation monitoring and verification of high voltage dielectric and mechanical routine tests;
- Maintain Test Report Database.
Your background:
- At least Bachelors Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering;
- Good communication skills in English written & spoken;
- IT user basic SAP skills are advantage;
- Good computer literacy (MS Office) experience in CAD programs;
- A high level of self-motivation curiosity and desire to learn about new technologies;
- A collaborative solutions-oriented approach with strong communication skills;
- Experience in coordinating multiple teams good team-player. Experience in working in multicultural environment;
- Strong commitment to safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines;
