Are you a skilled Maintenance Fitter with a passion for ensuring the smooth operation of machinery in a dynamic food manufacturing environment We have an exciting opportunity for you to contribute to the success of our growing team based in Preston VIC. The pay rate is $56.25 per hour plus super and overtime on a temp-to-perm basis.

Key Responsibilities:
Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery to ensure optimal performance in compliance with safety and quality standards.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.
Preventive Maintenance: Implement preventive maintenance programs to extend the lifespan of machinery and reduce the likelihood of breakdowns.
Collaboration: Work closely with production teams to understand their needs and address maintenance requirements effectively.
Qualifications:
- Mechanical fitter trade qualification
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Fitter in a food manufacturing or similar environment.
- Proficient in diagnosing and repairing mechanical equipment. Knowledge of hydraulics pneumatics and conveyor systems is a plus.
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and regulations.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
