Benefits Account Executive
Job Summary
Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Benefits Account Executive to join a dynamic team. This is a strategic role that involves managing and growing a portfolio of self-funded benefits accounts primarily consisting of 500 group lives accounts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agency benefits a proven track record of success and the ability to work collaboratively with producers and account managers to deliver exceptional service to clients. This position offers a hybrid work environment with a focus on teamwork innovation and professional growth.
Compensation Package
- Salary Range: $135000 - $155000 (depending on experience)

Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic partner to producers standing in for them when necessary and attending annual sales meetings.
- Manage renewals and develop strategies for the existing book of business.
- Collaborate with account managers to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.
- Handle a portfolio of mostly self-funded benefits accounts with 500 group lives.
- Provide expert guidance and support to clients on benefits-related matters.
- Utilize Zywave and EPIC software to manage accounts and streamline processes.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Education & Licenses: Life & Health (L&H) license required.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of agency benefits experience required.
- 10 years of experience and self-funded benefits expertise preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Zywave and EPIC software.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- High level of professionalism and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
