Position Laser Operator

Job Location Ixonia WI

Starting Date Immediate

Employment Term Temp-to-Hire

Employment Type Full-Time

Work Hours (Shift) 2nd Shift (2:00pm 10:00pm)

Starting Pay Depends on Experience $20 per hour Shift Premium

Required Education High School Diploma/GED

Required Experience At least 2 years of experience

Responsibilities

Operate and adjust stand-alone laser as needed to cut single or multiple pieces from sheet.

Remove cut product from sheet steel and sort for processing or finished goods inventory.

Review shop orders blueprints and inspection records to determine process requirements.

Examine and measure product to verify conformance to specifications using measurement equipment as specified on inspection records.

Qualifications

High School education or equivalent.

Strong industrial math skills and attention to details.

Ability to learn tasks and follow directions including use of measurement equipment.

Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
