Position Description:
We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst who is passionate about turning data into information information into insight and insight into business decisions. As a Data Analyst at Anomali you will be responsible for analyzing large data sets to identify trends develop charts and create visual presentations to help the company make strategic decisions.
o Collect process and analyze large datasets to identify meaningful patterns trends and relationships.
o Lead complex data analysis projects develop machine learning models and provide strategic recommendations that drive business decisions
o Design develop and implement advanced analytics frameworks data collection systems and reporting infrastructure across the organization.
o Mentor and provide guidance to junior analysts establish analytical best practices and lead knowledge-sharing initiatives.
o Develop automated data pipelines and workflows to improve efficiency and end ensure data accuracy and integrity.
o Work closely with management and diverse stakeholders to prioritize business and information needs as well as identify opportunities for growth optimization and risk mitigation.
o Define and lead new process improvement opportunities.
o Translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver actionable insights through comprehensive analysis.
o Communicate analysis and findings to stakeholders through clear and engaging reports and visualizations.
Qualifications
Required Skills/Experience:
o Bachelors/Masters degree in Mathematics Economics Computer Science Information Management Statistics or related field.
o 3 years of proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Intelligence.
o Strong knowledge of and advanced proficiency with SQL reporting and visualization platforms (Tableau PowerBI Looker) databases and querying (SQL etc.) and programming (Python R etc).
o Knowledge of and proficiency with statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel SPSS SAS etc.).
o Deep expertise in statistical modeling predictive analytics data mining and working with large complex datasets.
o Experience with ETL processes data governance and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
o Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect organize analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
o This is a hybrid position working onsite at our Belfast office. This position is not remote.
o This position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship. The successful candidate must be able to work freely at our Belfast location.
o Any cybersecurity knowledge is a plus.
