Transport Co-ordinator

Support role for Operations can include administrative tasks including data entry and printing off reports to support the efficient running of the operation

Level: An Experienced Para-Professional (S2) requires basic knowledge of job procedures and tools obtained through work experience and may require vocational or technical education. Responsibilities typically include:

Works under moderate supervision.

Problems are typically of a routine nature but may at times require interpretation or deviation from standard procedures.

Communicates information that requires some explanation or interpretation.

• Manage landside transport modalities (truck) & Cross border.
• Ensure timely and efficient movement of cargo between designated points.
• Develop and implement operational policies practices and business planswithin scope of role.
• Monitor performance metrics and ensure compliance with company standards and customer requirements.

Strategic & Business Development

• Supportdirection anddevelopment ofoperational area to support business growth.
• Align operational strategies with organizational goals.
• Evaluate solutions within known alternatives and ensure effectiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product Procurement Finance) to assess cost elements and optimize P&L.

• At least03 - 05years professional experienceas at similar role(s) inroadtransport operations.
• Experience in logistics and services industry.
• Strong knowledge of transport processes industry practices and operational methods.
• Ability to work independently within defined boundaries and guidelines with supervision on complex tasks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to evaluate solutions effectively.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Broad technical expertise in logistics and transport operationspreferred.
