• Experienced sessional kindergarten teacher needed for large and complex group
• Sessions Mon & Tue
• 24.75 hours per week
• Roster Mon & Tue 8.00 am to 4.15 pm with 8.25 hours planning on Wednesdays
• VECTEA terms & conditions
• Paid time off over term breaks up to10 weeks per year
• Start Date: as soon as possible preferably March 2026
• We will NOT be considering provisionally registered teachers

Opened in 2022 Sparkways Early Learning Footscray located within the Billy Button Childrens Centre is a spacious community-focused early learning and care service located next to Footscray City Primary School.

  VECTEA Terms & Conditions

  • VECTEA salary rates for teachers with 3 to 5 years of experience is currently $43 to $47 per hour with increases and back pay expected before the end of 2026.
  • Teachers with 5 years of experience are supported to complete the Capability Assessessment and move to Level 3 status with rates starting at $50.59 per hour
  • Generous personal leave and 10 weeks paid leave over the term breaks
