Product Design Team Lead

Your role with us:

As a Product Design Team Lead at Easygo youll balance hands-on design with leadership and mentorship. Youll guide your team through complex design challenges provide actionable feedback and support their growth while ensuring high-quality outcomes across the product.

Youll also mentor a small interstate-based team with occasional travel to strengthen relationships support collaboration and ensure alignment across locations.

Working closely with Product Engineering and cross-functional partners youll help shape priorities influence product direction and define success metrics. Youll also contribute to design standards processes and best practices elevating the impact and consistency of design across the team.

What you will do:

• Lead mentor and develop a small product design team providing day-to-day guidance actionable feedback and career coaching.
• Foster a high-performing collaborative and inclusive design culture.
• Deliver hands-on design work across key initiatives setting an example of quality and excellence.
• Oversee end-to-end project delivery from discovery through UI prototyping and design QA ensuring timelines scope and quality benchmarks are met.
• Collaborate closely with Product Engineering and cross-functional partners to shape priorities influence roadmap decisions and advocate for user needs.
• Maintain and evolve design standards processes and best practices to drive consistency and efficiency across the team.
• Track project progress report on milestones and measure the effectiveness of design initiatives.
• Support hiring onboarding and growth planning to build and strengthen the team.
• Occasionally travel to mentor and collaborate with the interstate team reinforcing relationships and alignment.

What you will bring:

• 6 years of product design experience with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
• Proven track record delivering exceptional digital products from concept to execution.
• Experience leading mentoring and growing a small design team.
• Strong hands-on design skills and ability to balance delivery with leadership responsibilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills able to align design decisions with product and business goals.
• Experience working in tech-driven or fast-paced digital product environments.
• Strategic and analytical mindset able to influence product direction and roadmap decisions.
• Interest or experience in emerging technologies such as AI or familiarity with wagering and sportsbook products is a plus.
• Ability to thrive under pressure manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing requirements.

• Sports & Gambling knowledge advantageous
• Cryptocurrency knowledge would be advantageous
• Proficient with Google Suite (Drive Spreadsheets Docs) Slack Jira & Intercom
