Job Summary
You will be responsible for sourcing ordering and managing parts and materials for equipment maintenance and repairs. This role ensures cost-effective purchasing efficient inventory management and timely distribution of parts to support our technicians.

Parts Procurement & Sourcing
- Source order and track parts/materials for equipment maintenance ensuring cost-effective purchasing
- Process purchase orders track delivery and resolve minor order issues
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and vendor agreements
Inventory & Logistics Coordination
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate records
- Organize inventory for efficient retrieval and distribution
Parts Distribution & Support
- Manage shipment/receipt of parts ensuring proper documentation
- Collaborate with technicians to confirm parts and address supply chain issues
Process Optimization & Compliance
- Support improvements in procurement and inventory workflows
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Journeyperson Parts Technician
- 2-3 years of industry experience preferably in highway truck or heavy equipment environments
- Valid Class 5 Drivers license with a clean 3-year driving abstract
- Safety-conscious and able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of CAT heavy equipment parts JD Edwards Caterpillar SIS Coupa or similar platforms is an asset
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Work Conditions:
- Office-based role located in Leduc Alberta
- Monday to Friday work schedule
